The Importance of Energy Management
Most people chase tools and productivity but often overlook two crucial elements: our energy and personal sovereignty. These factors keep us going and thriving.
In 2026, I experienced one of my strongest business years. It wasn't due to working more hours. Instead, I transformed how I show up each day. Managing my energy has made a measurable difference, alongside maintaining my personal sovereignty.
My recent journey has introduced me to new friends and mentors. Recently, I spent time with two of my favorites, Andy and Jonno from the Spirit Release Academy. We discussed energy in a way that resonates with real life and work.

Insights from the Podcast
During our conversation, we explored several key topics:
Why focus and decision-making suffer when your energy is scattered.
Why energy management should be a vital leadership skill.
What sovereignty truly means—everyone has their own definition.
The secret to everything in life (hint: it’s nothing “out there”).
We also discussed intuition. Everyone has it, but whether you choose to use it is entirely up to you. Trusting yourself instead of seeking outside validation can be a life-changing decision.
The Power of Choice
It all starts with a choice. I invite you to try this quick experiment:
The 60-Second Energy Check.
Sit still for one minute. Just notice.
Ask yourself:
- How does my body feel right now?
- Where do I feel tension?
- Where do I feel relaxed?
- Does my energy feel open or stressed?
Learning about your energy is about making one choice at a time.
Choosing to sit still. Or not.
Choosing to listen to yourself. Or not.
Choosing to do things differently. Or not.
Choosing to learn how to manage your energy. Or not.
Choosing to finally commit to figuring out YOU. Or not.
It's up to you.

Looking Within
In light of today's current events, it may be time to look within. Especially if you're in transition—whether it’s to parenthood, retirement, a career change, or something else. Perhaps you're searching for "more" but can't quite name it. Knowing how to cope and live your life without allowing outside interference is a skill you can learn.
The Journey of Self-Discovery
It’s definitely a journey, not a destination. It’s messy. Change isn’t easy to navigate, and it never truly ends. However, making fundamental changes in how you conduct yourself is worth it.
